Wilson is the right choice. That said, he would have to make some of the players around him a whole lot better for the team to win the division. I know I'm supposed to be filled with starry-eyed optimism at this time of year, but I don't roll that way. Carroll is consistently moving in the right direction, and making good choices more often than not. That said, let's not let expectations get out of hand.

This may be unfair for me to say because i am not in that locker room but it sure seem's like the player's rallied around Wilson i just didn't get that feeling with Flynn.

If Flynn had Kolb type money and was told he would be starter then maybe we would have a problem. However it is way less money and Flynn was told from first meeting that he was coming in ONLY to compete for the job, he was told no guarantee he makes it, whoever does best gets the job. Knowing that he took the job. I would like to think he would be professional about it and keep working and pushing Wilson. Only time will tell.

Health concerns, our group of receivers, rookie QB, inconsistent/unhealthy line...

I'm just as excited as everyone else, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. I'm expecting a winning record and a possible wildcard spot; anything more than that is just gravy, in my opinion.
