Excactly i thought the chances were supposed to be in your favor as a defense on a 3rd and 13 or 3rd and 12.

The D-Line also put up a pathetic effort against one of the worst Offensive Lines in football Mebane was the only guy in on a lot of plays that i saw besides Red stopping the run.

Yeah I absolutely agree that the third down conversions were ridiculous. They still kept them out of the end zone and held them to two super long fgs.

The offense needs to score more than 13 points! We've got one of the best defenses IMO but they're still going to need some offensive PTs.

They do need to figure out how to tighten up those third and longs. It's a really annoying problem

Drew Brees' First 5 games as a starter:

    15/19 160 yards, 78.9% Comp. 2 TD 0 INT 136.8 RAT

    15/28 163 yards, 53.6% Comp. 1 TD 1 INT 68.0 RAT

    17/31 181 yards, 54.8% Comp. 0 TD 1 INT 58.7% RAT

    10/18 104 yards, 55.6% Comp. 1 TD 0 INT 91.0 RAT

    26/42 235 yards, 61.9% Comp. 1 TD 2 INT 65.1 RAT

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

Russell Wilson's First 4 Games as a starter:

    18/34 153 yards 52.9% Comp. 1 TD 1 INT 62.5 RAT

    15/20 151 yards, 75.0% Comp. 1 TD 0 INT 112.7 RAT

    10/21 130 yards, 47.6% 2 TD 0 INT 99.3 RAT

    17 / 25 160 yards, 68.0% Comp., 0 TD 3 INT 45.8 RAT

Saw this on another site and thought i would post the comparasion here Brees didn't light secondary's up in his first 5 games either.

Wilson really only threw 1 interception against the Rams that you can really pin on him Baldwin let somebody take a ball away from him and McCoy fell on his butt.

Brees was putting the ball in the end zone though. But really, the numbers are very similar.

They have the same TD/INT ratio through their first four games an we know 2, possibly 3 from yesterday were not on him.
    I'm In.

Yeah agreed, but we also can't go back and see which of Brees picks weren't his fault. Well we could, but I'm not gonna.

At any rate Russ has pretty much equal numbers through four.

Thanks for the statistical analysis on the QB comparison. They seem awfully equal at this present moment. Let's see how the rest of games pan out because CAR is a great bounce-back game for him to improve.

Agreed although I'm sure we can find some other really ****** QBs with similar #s as well. I do think Brees is a good comparison though

If Russell doesnt have a hell of a game against Carolina, then we will be in trouble. No reason for us to lose this one. NE and SF on the horizon. We need this game.

I really don't see how anyone can even consider putting the loss on our defense. Sure, they weren't great on third downs, but they gave us a shot to win and our offense showed its true colors.

Don't count on it. We're brutal on the road.

Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Colin Kaepernick walk into a bar... To watch Russell Wilson win the Super Bowl.

You can't put any of the blame on the defense especially when the Rams were converting 3rd and longs all game??

You can certainly put some of the blame on them.
