Yea except for when they went to zone instead of man coverage on 3rd & longs, resulting in us getting burned.

Excactly i thought the chances were supposed to be in your favor as a defense on a 3rd and 13 or 3rd and 12.

The D-Line also put up a pathetic effort against one of the worst Offensive Lines in football Mebane was the only guy in on a lot of plays that i saw besides Red stopping the run.

Yeah I absolutely agree that the third down conversions were ridiculous. They still kept them out of the end zone and held them to two super long fgs.

The offense needs to score more than 13 points! We've got one of the best defenses IMO but they're still going to need some offensive PTs.

They do need to figure out how to tighten up those third and longs. It's a really annoying problem

Saw this on another site and thought i would post the comparasion here Brees didn't light secondary's up in his first 5 games either.

Wilson really only threw 1 interception against the Rams that you can really pin on him Baldwin let somebody take a ball away from him and McCoy fell on his butt.

They have the same TD/INT ratio through their first four games an we know 2, possibly 3 from yesterday were not on him.

Thanks for the statistical analysis on the QB comparison. They seem awfully equal at this present moment. Let's see how the rest of games pan out because CAR is a great bounce-back game for him to improve.

Agreed although I'm sure we can find some other really ****** QBs with similar #s as well. I do think Brees is a good comparison though

You can't put any of the blame on the defense especially when the Rams were converting 3rd and longs all game??

You can certainly put some of the blame on them.
