Flynn may have some mobility but i doubt he can run the read option like Wilson which could be a problem i also think our WR's are used to a QB like Wilson who can extend plays for a long period of time a pure pocket passer may struggle.
With that said i would try to get a 3rd or 4th for Flynn though anything lower then i keep Flynn.
I completely agree. He's not near the athletic ability as Russell Wilson.
He's not completely stationary like Brady or Flacco either though. He's not "slow" though if we're talking about the QB position. In all of his games you notice he can run. Is he going to outrun a DE? No. Can he scramble? Yes.
He's no Russell Wilson, but he isn't exactly Joe Flacco either. I think calling him "pretty damn slow" is harsh. For a QB he's slightly above average.
Jej- Exactly you don't know what you'll trade him for so why? I mean if there's a target out there that we can get to make our team better then lets do it, but there just isn't.
Brodie- I'd do a 3rd, but anything under that I'm keeping him. I don't want some chump behind Russell. Honestly though he's not that slow. If he's pretty damn slow I don't know what you call Eli lol. Stationary?
Exact opposite. Our defense as a whole is very weak on the edges against the run, very strong up the middle. Mebane is the reason for that, as well as Wagner and Chancellor.
I disagree. The first 49ers game where we were struggling with the run we were losing up the middle. Going right at Wagner branch and mebane. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree but I never see teams run sideline to sideline on us. It's always between the tackles
