lol. See what the cardinals have done to us, making us all make jokes because we are bored. How dare they hav a complete team and make us have a boring offseason!
The deal won't be truly fair without Fernando Salas involved.
Does that sound fair? I know we would be getting the worse end of the deal but we really need those players at key positions
No way I do that deal without Storen and/or Clippard
got to replace Salas's untouchable heat
****. Your right.

Since Franklin is back in the FO....throw him in as well to sweeten the deal.
wait....Skip, you just traded away most of our bench and utility guys. For more pitching....what,are we on a 12 game rotation now? I would think maybe we could get Reyes for Westbrook, whaddya think?

No Jordan Zimmerman, Ryan Zimmerman (Nats obviously have to cover the contract) and Ian Desmond, the one true need we have from them?

lol. We truely are experiencing the what to do when you have no major needs. It's fun lol
We should all put together our own perfect teams of current players. That would be fun lol
Maybe just put a few restrictions on it. Like no payrolls over 115 million since that's around what our payroll will be but it can be any players you want as long as your at or under 115 million
I am gonna pick a NL Dream Team.
1b) Votto (when healthy)
3b) Wright/Headley (Toss Up)
SS) Tulo (when healthy)
SP Wainwright (back to form)
SP Halladay (when his team doesn't suck)
Also... mull this over... let it resonate a little bit... any interest in Michael Young to man 2b until Wong arrives. Really expensive but great player. If we were in on Scutaro why not Young.
He is a vastly over-rated player, and the Rangers want value back in covering his contract (or even part of it)
Not a fit other than being a right handed bat that can play second base.
He is a good guy, but that's really it.
I'll just do the dream inexpensive team

SP - Bumgarner - 750,000. Call it an even million
SP- Kershaw - 11 million

RP venters 500,000
RP Choate -2.5 million
RP Boggs 1 million
RP clippard 2 million

I fill my bench with Aaron miles, Daniel Descalso and Felipe Lopez in typical cardinal fashion and we are set lol some numbers are of guys are arb eligible since we don't know what those numbers will be I rounded up to the nearest million so that real 2013 number would be closer to 120 million lol
