Ken Rosenthal speculated on MLB network that the Yankees could look at Scutaro for their 3B/SS needs.

    makes sense i guess

I wouldnt mind Scuturo.. Can play 2b and fill in at SS reasonably well... Very solid winning player.. But what will it take?

Go over to MLBTR and read where a Dodgers fan thinks Dee Gordon is worth Peralta and Porcello straight up.. For depth was his reasoning...

Dan Haren to nationals reports ken Rosenthal.

1/13 million. The good get better.

    Now have a rotation of

    Strasburg
    Gonzalez
    Haren
    Zimmerman
    Detwiler

Great line up. That teams gonna be ridiculous

Scutaro is looking to get 3 yrs 24m. Giants appear to be the front runners in signing him.

Cards want him for literally 1 year of starting at 2B. No way I'd give 3/24 million

3 years 24 million+ for Scutaro would be the dumbest offseason move we could make haha

no way in hell i'd be ok with that. Scutaro wont happen cause the Giants or Yankees will give him at least 2, if not 3 years

No chance Lohse is back. He doesn't fit our needs. He wants and has earned for a long term deal. We don't need another starter and we for sure don't need one long term.

Once Greinke is gone someone will snatch Lohse up quick after. Greinke is the top starter he will set the market.

I don't expect losing a pick to be a concern because he will likely be on a four year deal

I'd go 2/14. Max. He is a good player and versatile and we have the room.

Plus even when Wong is ready its not like Scutaro is useless here. He can still get time at 2B, especially since Wong is left handed and rookies don't always do great in every situation

He can also get more time at SS the second year along with this year. So I'm okay 2/14 because he will want a raise after last year which is about a million more per year. But no way I'd go 3 years for 8 million per

Thats insanity to give Scuturo 3/24.. Wouldnt blame him in the least if he got that.. Cards wouldnt go nuts for King Angel they arent gonna go nuts for a 2b slash SS either...

im not even sure i'd go 2/14

the dude had a great second half with the giants but thats it imo. He played way above his capabilities.

He'd be a nice addition but im not one for giving 37 year olds multiple year deals
