As Laker fans how do you guys feel about Mike Brown?

I'm not the biggest Laker fan, but man I sure hope some where Phil Jackson is campaigning his ***** off to come back and coach. Mike Brown is the Lakers weakest link, imo.

He needs to be given a chance to coach a full season, but this yr, if our team doesn't win a title, he's good as gone.

I don't like his style... I also don't think our guys listen to a word he says. His personality doesn't demand respect, and with a team like this, they need someone that they really respect.

I did not want him when Buss originally signed him and I don't want him now. He truly seems clueless, as crazy as that may seem.

People don't think it matters and that it's up to the players but he can easily **** this up.

-If we win, we will win in spite of Brown. Much like the Yankees won in '09 in spite of their Manager Joe Girardi.

I like Mike Brown, seems like a nice guy. I'm not so sure whether being buddies with your players helps you as a coach, which is the main concern I have about him. Also his subs are questionable at times, but so were PJax now and then.
I'll give him the chance to prove himself this season though

Do you guys think the triangle offense would benefit this Lakers team more or the Princeton offense? If I remember correctly thats the style they are going to be using this season.

this.

our defense started off GREAT at the beginning of last season then it just disappeared

im hoping for the best but dont have too much faith in him.

he may genuinely be a nice guy but that doesnt win championships

like someone else posted up there ^ he doesnt command respect and ive said that numerous times as well

Well too bad Phil made his choice, and he doesn't have the will to coach anymore.

We blame Kobe for that too because he was one who asked for the priceston offense, and he was the one who ask for a defensive coach, and believe me if we lose everyone in the media is going to blame Kobe first.
