I've stated this before but the one thing that I have always been jealous about the Bears is is that they always have a reliable kicker. Edinger, now Gould. You knew the games over if he's coming in to kick one and that's a fact.

I disagree with Williams.. I believe he will be a pretty good TE.. Its all about trust with Mike and Aaron at this point, but I expect a expanded role for DJ next year.

I am not saying he won't be a good player i just don't think he will be starter material.

Big signing:

The Green Bay Packers signed DT Jordan Miller to the active roster from the practice squad and released LB Vic So’oto. The transactions were announced Tuesday by Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations.

Miller, a 6-foot-1, 309-pound first-year player out of Southern University, was signed to Green Bay’s practice squad on Oct. 23. He spent the first 15 games of the 2011 season on Chicago’s practice squad before being signed to the Bears’ active roster for the season finale (inactive). Miller was with the Bears during the 2012 preseason until he was released on Aug. 31, 2012. He originally entered the league with Chicago as a non-drafted free agent on July 27, 2011. Miller will wear No. 91 for the Packers.

So’oto (So-OH-toe) appeared in one game for the Packers this season.

I think this is a good indication that we won't see Wilson or Neal back soon. Most likely Wilson from what I read he's not progressing as fast as they would have hoped. I don't think they want to continue with just 4 DL the rest of the way.

Its no doubt that you guys have been hit but you have better depth theres no denying it. It was just sad bc all of those are within the last 3 weeks along with pep being injured all year

i hate to post this, because I was an opponent of the way TT built this program, but the depth we have is a biproduct of building a team through the draft only.... when you sign big name FA's like Cutler, Peppers, and the like, it tends to handicap the depth of the team...like I said. I hated at first, but I am happy I was wrong

yeah, in my opinion the philosophy they used is the very reason they have no depth....I hated it alot when TT would not pull the trigger on some FA's...but looking back, I am happy he didnt
