It's part of the negotiation process but you have to wonder if Cano will actually follow through with this statement considering he has distanced himself as the best second baseman in baseball.

I dont have a problem with him seeking 10 mil... You put yourself in his place and of course you will seek the maximum years you can get... Sell high but i doubt he gets it anyway..
Yanks will likely start with 5 years...sell low..

Seattle is desperate for some hitting? Idk really lol. But if I were Cashman, that'd be my number one trade in mind. Cano and fillers for Felix and fillers. That'd be an awesome awesome trade.
