I think he could, my concerns can he stay healthy? Apparently he quit tobacco mid-season which can effect the body physically and mentally. Signing Hamiltion is a good debate, he can help our aging offense.

He has more value to the Yankees than other teams. His SLG is 100 points lower outside of Yankee Stadium.

If the Yankees don't want him despite the fact that he's perfect for Yankee Stadium...why would another team take him, unless it's for a very modest player/prospect? Yankees won't get much back. For example, Mets might give Yankees Nieuwenhuis and McHugh -- something like that -- plus some cash to pay his salary. Agree?

Why do you want another guy thats exactly whats wrong with this team right now. Youre going to have to give him a huge contract for way too many years and its going to be deja vu for all of us. Youll get 2 good years out of him MAYBE, assuming he doesnt miss time due to injury. After that he will decline rapidly and we will once again be paying 20+ million dollars a season to a guy that just isnt worth it.

He's incredible. But given his age, his injury history (How many seasons without injury does he have?), and his other issues, there's a big risk. I think he's far more likely to decline early than most. And he can't stay healthy now.
