I'm always an optimist when it comes to my MAVS!!!

Overall they have been looking better and better since the Euro trip. I think the only reason why Dirk played in Germany was for his fans there.

He knew that this day was coming. It's better for him to do it now, and let these guys find some chemistry. When he is back he will fit in nicely with these young guards and proven big men.

We are going to be a lot better than people think, but there I go being optimistic again. I say above .500 when Dirk gets back to full strength...

    GO MAVS!!!!!

in terms of Dirk.. I think the path is written here..I'm a big fan but I've seen this with all my players. They get in there 30s and start to have nagging injuries, finally they give in to a surgery. Never the same again.
He'll still be a beast but not a superstar.

I could be wrong but I never thought Tmac, Carter, and a list of others who got some minor knee surgeries would go from most talented players Ive ever seen to a complete shell.
Could be wrong tho cuz Dirk doesnt use a lot of athleticism.

But he is getting older now that's just the truth of it.

Mavs will be fine tho, the team is really well rounded offensively. OJ mayo already looks comfortable and the rest of the Mavs look great, GREAT chemistry already

also Collinson has a nag for randomly going off when rest of team isn't doing much. When I watched him on Pacers he would always destroy other PGs when it was least expected of him.

We are going December 18th against the Sixers. I think he will be back by then, but will have probably only played like 4-5 games by then. Who knows.

Why can't you just drive or fly (probably for really cheap) to Portland and watch them play the Blazers?

    Just a thought haha.
