Jeffrey Loria is a disgrace. I feel bad for the tax payers in Miami. They are stuck with a huge bill and a joke of a team. Aweful.

The Marlins return isnt actually that bad at all but I do agree, they could've got much better.

What the actual **** is wrong with Miami. Plenty of room for A-rod now though... Uh oh, I might have to eat some crow
I dont think the Mayans could have predicted this. This is craziness

If those Marlins players could not help the Marlins why would they all of sudden just help the Jays? Nothing is a guarantee in baseball.

There has to be some point to freeing up that much payroll, doesn't there? Can any team possibly be so ridiculous? I'm starting to wonder if A-rod could be dealt, considering they could handle his contract now. We'd probably get nothing out of it though.

Opinions? If the Marlins were willing to take on his whole contract, do you make the trade?

Being a Yankee fan in Miami, I understand my city's stupidity. They stole the stadium from the University of Miami. They said they will upgrade the stadium. Stupid commissioners like Michelle Spence Jones screwed us. They don't want to bring in casinos for taxation but they want to support the stupid Marlins. Wth is that? Next thing we know, the stupid Dolphins will get a $400 mill stadium.

You don't see how adding Johnson, Reyes and Beuhrle helps the Jays? Not saying they will be the best in the division but a lot will have to go wrong for them not to be a better team (at least in the short term).

Yes. They certaintly have the payroll to do so.

The point is to pay as little money as they have to, collect tax money from the Yankees, etc...There is zero chance they take A-Rod. He literally makes twice as much as the Marlins current roster.

Its not like this is the first time the Marlins have done this. Its pretty easy to see why the Marlins have no fan base - they dismantle the entire team every couple years. That is gonna be one expensive empty stadium next year.

The cuban fans stopped because Ozzie disrespected the whole Cuban fanbase. What Loria has done is wrong. He's basically guilty of embezzelment.

Too bad they just built a giant stadium. Could you imagine how great of a fit the Marlins would be in Puerto Rico? I mean, Miami doesn't care about them, they're awful, and San Juan would probably love to have an MLB team.
    O-H-I-O!
