Must start getting younger.....tough players to lose but these are not in the future, just one year deals...inject youth! 25-28 is the range, they are out there...

When you come here as a mercenary and demand to be paid more than any other player in baseball then, rightfully or wrongly, you will shoulder alot of the blame when you don't deliver. It just comes with the terrority. I'm not going to cry over how Alex is treated. The guy is rich and famous because he knows how to hit a ball with a round stick.

I say sign juiced up Melky to a 1 year deal and let Grandy walk. Melky should still be able to put up roided numbers for one more season before he goes on the Arod decline path. You can probably get him cheaper then picking up the Grandy option.

I think Nunez would be a perfect fit for RF. Not sure one winter ball season makes him "decent" enough to do that.

That's my starting outfield for 2013
