sign Hunter to replace Swisher
trade Granderson for prospects
sign Martin to team friendly deal or sign Mccan(if option not picked up)
trade prospects to get another ace to go behind Sabathia
i think this is realistic to what could happen this offseason
When you say ANOTHER ace.....is that because CC is an ace?
I like exactly what you posted but I would switch it up a little bit.
Nationals Get- Granderson, Joba Chamberlain, Dellin Betances, & Another Prospect
Yankees Get- Anthony Rendon, Tyler Moore & Ross Detweiler
Marlins Get- Alex Rodriguez
Yankees Get- Mark Buerhle, Heath Bell and Emilio Bonafacio
Arizona Gets- Chase Headley, Eduardo Nunez, Adam warren
Padres Get- Phil Hughes(NYY), Chris Johnson(ARI), & a pitching prospect from both.
Yankees Get- Justin Upton
Indians Get- Ivan Nova, Angelo Gumbs, and Jesus Flores
Yankees Get- Shin-Soo Choo
The only problem with that is that the Nats won't part with Detweiler. Also, I'm not sure what A-Rod's value is. Also, it might take a bit more to pry Upton away.
Honestly, I want to see a LOT of change this offseason. I want to get some young studs on this team. I think that Mason Williams, Slade Heathcott, and Gary Sanchez should be the only position prospects who are off the table. I'd trade anyone else.

I'd keep Jeter, Sabathia, Texiera, Cano and Robertson. I'd sign Ichiro, Pettite, Mariano, Kuroda and Martin to team friendly contracts for one year (Martin maybe 2 years). I'd lien toward keeping Gardner and maybe Logan.
I'm indifferent on Hughes, Joba, Nova, Eppley, Rapada, Stewart, Cervelli, Dickerson, Nunez and Nix and I would trade any of them in the right deal.
I'd do my best to move A-Rod and probably trade Granderson unless we get a reasonable contract for him.
I wouldn't sign Freddy, Jones, McGhee or Swisher and am indifferent on Ibanez, Chavez and Lowe.
You're acting like that was the lowest number in MLB history.
Its not, yankees actually hit .171 back one year in the 60's or 70's cant remember
New York Yankees

If Kuroda and Andy come back, the pitching should be fine.
They need a different offensive approach though. Even though they outscored 29 other MLB teams, they are too "station to station" meaning it usually takes 3 hits to score a run unless someone hits a homer. They could use a few more guys who can take an extra base, go from 1st to 3rd on a single, steal a base, bunt, etc.
