Pacquiao attacked a great counter puncher, and problley one of the most accurate punchers we've ever seen, very wildly, and dropped his hands... and it resulted in a KO. Thats the name of the game, guard ur grill.

Problley the best punch I've ever seen thrown.

It was a brilliant punch, and a mistake by PAC.

If you re-watch the punch you'll see PAC does a hop move where he loads up abd gains momemtum before he unloads his left hand. He does it often, i know that, Marquez knows that.

Marquez was waiting for it. When PAC does it this time, quez catches it, you Can see him throwing the punch before PAC gets near him, you can also see pac trips while coming in and his momentum brings him right into Marquez right hand.

What most ppl didn't see is that he tripped over marquezes foot, or Marquez stepped on his toes, which fighters sometimes do, Brilliant set up by Marquez. I would love to know if quez stepped on his toes on purpose, wouldn't surprise me.

    I agree.

Bring on Tim Bradley, Brandon Rios, and Danny Garcia, so Marquez can't get in there as*ses too! With no vaseline!

Damn such a great finish. Great fight by both men. One of the great rivalries. I hope both walk away from the sport. Nothing left to prove by either one.

Both already are secured in the top 50 IMO. But I think they still have it in them to stay in the sport a couple of years.

it's apart of boxing. Its no different from clinching then hitting or pushing off.

Here is a very nice video of JMM sparring a few weeks back that I think fight fans would enjoy seeing:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cqcrm...ayer_embedded#!

Watch it from 0:30- 0:40 in the 1st minute. Usually fighters only hire sparring partners with similar styles to the guys they're supposed to fight.

Seems like Marquez put an emphasis to finding a home for his right counter during his 4 months of training.

I'd be shocked if he was found to be positive for PED usage, especially with how adamant he was postfight in his denial of such claims.

That looping right he nailed him with in the 3rd would've put Pacman out if he nailed it just a little more cleanly to the temple region. But that punch in the 5th round was as picture perfect as you can get, and would've laid out pretty much anyone in the Junior WW and WW divisions.

I don't think Marquez ever nailed Pacman with a punch that clean in their previous 36 rounds. He's been nailed with a lot of counters in their 4 fights, but he REALLY didn't see that counter-right in the 5th coming.

Why walk away, pacquiao vs rios wouod be great.

Marquez Vs Bradley is a perfect matchup.

If they both win... Why not make it 5? These still too much left in them to retire, although I wouldn't blame them if they did.
