Elite Secondary w/ Poor Front 7 or Elite Front 7 w/ Poor Secondary?

    Which would you rather have?

I'd set up a poll, but I'd like to hear reasoning along.

If you say anything other than front 7 then you are wrong

    I have to say 7 because 7 greater than 4. . .

    3-4 front:

    Calais Campbell
    Haloti Ngata
    Justin Smith
    DeMarcus Ware
    Patrick Willis
    Karlos Dansby
    Cameron Wake

    or

    Darelle Revis
    Troy Polamalu
    Ed Reed
    Jonathan Joseph

    assuming everyone is healthy

So let's change the question a bit. Elite Front 4 (assuming a 4-3 D) or elite secondary...still an easy answer for me. Front four lineman. Chicago is a PRIME example of that this season.

Dumb thread...first. off 7> 4 second if you can rush the qb consistently its going to mask any defensive secondary issues. Its a qb league and the best way to rattle a qb is to hit them

This would be a better question thats phrased better and ill still say the front four...chicago is a prime example and so is the 2007 giants

front 4 over secondary always if they are both at the same level. so unless the option is elite front 4 and worst secodnary ever vs elite secondary and average fron 4, front 4 should win eveyr time

Elite front 4 over elite secondary...easily.

This is the best question...Elite front 4 vs. Elite back 7

That question has some actual thought involved in it.

If you can get to the QB with only 4 guys you can make that secondary look great.
