    2012 Minor League Thread 10.0

I wish the NL would get the DH so we could potentially see Vogelbach and Rizzo in the same lineup... That'd be beautiful.

I think Rizzo + whatever amazing player we could get for Vogelbach is ok too.

Not comparing him, But that sounds like John Kruk with power.

    Awe inspiring isn't it?

If Vogelbach is what he seems like he might be then I would prefer him + awesome player for Rizzo.

I'd still prefer to have it in the NL. It gives AL teams too big of an advantage.

As a traditionalist/purist, I hate it. But as a team that has a player like Vogelbach in the system, I'm all for it. I'm sure the union would love it, cut down on pitcher fluke base-running/batting injuries (although to be fair they are scarce), and add another potential 15 worthwhile bats to the conversation who otherwise are bench players.

    Damn 448 oppo

Some of those swings seemed truly effortless. He didn't even swing that hard on the 508 shot.

Vogelbach aside, it also gives AL teams a huge advantage when guys like Fielder and Pujols hit the market and they can more easily give the 10 year deals with a DH spot to eventually slot them into.

    Chicago Cubs: Trade deadline time...yay...
Tennessee Titans: In Whiz we trust.
Utah Jazz: Aussie Aussie Aussie, Exum baby! Nice Rodney Hood thievery. Now get Gordo resigned.

    Ranking the Hawks:

    Almora
    Vogelbach

    Hernandez
    Candelario

    Amaya

Tayler Scott (really starting to agree with Sickels' idea that pitchers and hitters should be ranked separately)

    Stephen Bruno
