Why this works for each team:

Atlanta: They get two borderline all-star players to spread the floor for Al Horford and Jeff Teague is also proving to be a really good PG for Atlanta. We all know what Ryan Anderson can do from the 3 point line, but he also allows Horford room in the paint to operate and is an above average rebounder. Monta Ellis is one of the best scorers in the league and I feel he could do damage as a starter or as a super sub off the bench. The SF position has been a hole for them, but losing 6'5'' Deshawn Stevenson wont be that big of a blow.

Starters: Jeff Teague, Monta Ellis, Kyle Korver, Ryan Anderson, Al Horford
Bench: Lou Williams, Anthony Morrow, Ivan Johnson, Zaza Pachulia

Los Angeles: Getting Josh Smith, Deshawn Stevenson and Luc Mbah a Moute gives the Lakers energy and defense, the two things they have been lacking all season. Josh Smith is a defensive monster who we can pair along with Dwight and he is also an extremely underrated playmaker. Oh yeah, and he a Dwight are very close friends. Stevenson is a good wing defender who can knock down the open three and can play SG and SF. Mbah a Moute is just a pure hustle player who can play SF or PF. This trade not only brings the Lakers energy, but it brings them depth and line-up flexibility.

Starters: Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Metta World Peace, Josh Smith, Dwight Howard
Bench: Steve Blake, Jodie Meeks, Deshawn Stevenson, Luc Mbah a Moute, Jordan Hill

Milwaukee: Milwaukee takes on a little more salary with Pau Gasol's trade kicker, but he gives them an experienced big and one of the best post players in the world. Gasol flourishes when he is the only option down low and I think he would pair nicely with Brandon Jennings who is a star in the making at PG. Mike Scott and Darius Odom-Johnson both have non-guaranteed contracts and were thrown in for salary matching purposes. They will most likely be waived. John Henson is the future of this team at PF and will become a very solid defensive foil to Gasol.

Starters: Brandon Jennings, Marquis Daniels, Mike Dunleavy, Drew Gooden, Pau Gasol
Bench: Beno Udrih, Tobias Harris, Ersan Ilyasova, John Henson, Samuel Dalembert, Ekpe Udoh

New Orleans: There are a couple reasons why this trade is made by NO. First off they have a superstar player in Anthony Davis who plays best at PF. He is the one you build around, not Ryan Anderson (as good as he is). No reason for a small market team to pay a backup PF 8.5 million over the next 4 years. Getting Anderson's contract off their books will save them over $64 million over the next 4 years if you factor in luxury tax. Thats why Larry Sanders is so important he is a PF/C who dominates the boards, is very good defensively, and will allow Davis to develop offensively. A one-two combo of Davis and Sanders patrolling the paint will be a force to be reckoned with. Devin Ebanks is a decent defender who can make cuts and get to the rim, but still needs more developing offensively. If he can focus on basketball, I think he can become a solid NBA player.

Starters: Greivis Vasquez, Eric Gordon, Al Fariq Aminu, Anthony Davis, Larry Sanders
Bench: Brian Roberts, Austin Rivers, Devin Ebanks, Jason Smith, Robin Lopez

That's a little steep for Milwaukee. Gasol wont get that much in return. Every gm in the league knows Lakers getting desperate as time goes by. Lakers are old and way over the cap. Bucks wont be taking on huge contract like Gasol without unloading Gooden or Ersan. Lakers be lucky to get Dalembert,Gooden and Beno for Gasol and Meeks.

That's even a lot of expiring's to part with since Bucks might be sold soon. If they did take on Gasol. It wont include Ellis. Cause we be all in for win now mode. Also wouldn't be parting with Sanders or Moute either. They fit in with Skiles plans for defense.

Ok this might be old news, and no I don't want to trade Pau....yet
So please don't bash me or anything but would you take monta Ellis drew Gooden and Jennings for pau and someone? Or a package around Ellis and Jennings ..

Jennings is on the block and he wants to play for a big market ...
Nash might be out for a while, he is older in age he could not last as the starter for another 2-3 years..and this won't mess with 2014 plan , both are short contracts.. And he can learn from Nash ... I'm saying we need a pg to help Howard and keep him, be real Nash for another 3 years? I like him he's good but damn... Look at this year lol ..
I'm saying trade him ONLY if this doesn't work ...BECAUSE we need a PG and Ellis can be the 6th man and help kobe, both are fast and quick, perfect for the Dan tonie offense RUN AND GUN both young and athletic.

This is just an idea we would get a pg for the future with Howard and enough money for whoever cuz kobe and Ellis metta Blake Meeks would be off the books..

I'd give them Blake perhaps. We don't need him as he won't be back until February. Nash, Duhon and Morris are good enough. Don't need a 4th PG, get rid of him.
