Thats not in order right? I didn't know Patrick Peterson was that good i remember in our game we were testing him and were pretty successful.

The number on the far right is their rating. The lower the better. Kinda hard to tell what number goes where in the stats there but one of those numbers is also snaps played, and throw at. Some of those guys arent in every down, and havent been thrown at as much so the ranking can be misleading. I know Sherman has been thrown at more than quite a few on this list but that gives him more passes defensed and the completion % against him his awful.

11th best? Someone must be giving him yards that he doesn't deserve or Tom Brady skewed his stats because he has locked down his guys.

6 players above him have under 300 snaps played, 5 thrown at under 30 times, and 7 have 3 passes defended or fewer. So yeah Sherman still top 3 right now IMO.

Rodgers-Cromartie definitely shouldn't be ranked that high. I think those rankings are deceiving. Tim Jennings #2?

That is correct. He is only number two cause he gets thrown on more cause opposing teams avoid Tillman. Sherman gets thrown on much more but he does lock down his guys. There are a few guys on here that shouldnt be. It is misleading. Notice Browner isnt even on here. That is cause he doesnt get thrown at. He is better than half the guys on this list as well.

Well stats do, but these are just misleading. You have to use your eyes too.

    Really?

Stats mean a ton when comparing players fairly. You just have to know what to look at and how much value to give it.

I kind of agree that stats can mean nothing especially when you try to factor what CB got beat because i do think they screw this up and give a CB yards when he wasn't the one who was out of position.

Its kind of like baseball when they score something wrong and give the error to the wrong person when another guy is more deserving of it.

I hate Thursday Night Football. Had no chance to watch the game since I'm at work. The NFL just wants people to order the NFL Network.

Seems like we need more weapons for Wilson. I hope they devote most of the draft towards improving this offense. Discouraging loss, but at least the Rams and Cards also are about to lose their games this week. Everyone still chasing the Niners.

    What What!!
