This has gone on long enough. If Bettman and Fehr can't even meet on the last day of a supposed deadline to save the 82 game season then I think the two of them should be relieved of their positions and put two guys in there that are willing to sit at a table and get it done. There should be no reason they haven't been meeting all week. It's the most pathetic attempt at negotiating I've ever heard of.

There will no 82 game season, this season is going to be abbreviated if there is one at all.

The players and owners are going to stall as long as possible.

One has to wish it's just not a replica of 2004-2005 because otherwise see you guys next October.

All games through November 30th were cancelled this morning, and late next week can be an announcement for both the ASG and WC to be cancelled.

i figure tix for WC average around 200 bucks. times it by 115000. 8 figures in tix sales in the dumper. what is bettman thinking!? no way a deal is done in two days. no way in hell.

I am still optimistic they get a deal done.

There is too much money on the table to walk away from the whole season, i knew there was going to be no 82 game season but i think they get back to the tables and hatch out a deal sometime in November.

Hockey will be back in December imo.

It's all hope but i think it will happen.

Saying that if a deal is not struck in November, the whole season will probably be a wash.
