Yeah but the media is not attacking this guy, you would think if it was false the media would be all over it, yet instead it seems really quiet, this guy could be on to something.

A report from WBZ reporter Steve Burton that the NHL lockout is close to being over is being denied.

Burton reported that both sides have "made great progress behind closed doors and it looks like the season will be salvaged", but CSNNE.com is stating that their sources think the rumor is "interesting but not true". Both sides are to meet on Tuesday without Commissioner Gary Bettman and the head of the NHLPA Donald Fehr with six players and six owners talking. Stay tuned.

Watching Felger and Mazz (boston radio that is also on tv) they brought up that there's a group of players who live in New England that get together to skate. Lucic finally showed up to one of them...obviously it could be a coincidence but i mean, This Burton guy (who has broken two stories in Kessel and Thomas) says the lockout is coming to an end...hoepfully he's right and that's why Looch is finally starting to skate again, but who knows
