that's why i suggest not getting up any type of emotion until its officially a go or officially a no go...but i'm trying to keep my emotions in check as well, i'm excited but don't want to be

Im hearing that if no deal by December 15th, then NHL will cancel rest of season. In next 2 days rest of december games will be cancelled

Doug MacLean suggests if they can get a deal by Friday a 56-game season starting on Dec. 20th. #NHL

Whether it is or not, I'll bet a few bad teams who start out hot will squeeze into the playoffs.

Which is the problem with a short season. While it's gonna make alot of fans happy, when April/May come around and their favorite team doesn't make the playoffs due to a slow start, they'll hate Bettman even more.

No meetings this morning. Owners on way to BOG meetings. Meeting with PA expected to continue later today. Nothing to be read into that. The two sides just didn't want to be rushed with BOG meeting at 11
