I think Reid is definitely gone, along with anybody he hired.
So any coaching suggestions?
Andy Reid
Bill Cowher
Tony Dungy
Jon Gruden

I don't know if it's similar but we're already discussing it.
no coach has ever won a sb with 2 different teams so i would pass on the older coaches
anyone think Brian Kelly may be an option for us? I mean successful at every level of college he coached, took over some really bad teams and made them into winners. I think he could be the best option for a team looking into someone from the college ranks to take over their team
Hey Guys, goog morning! So what do you think of the recent news of the NFL voiding Sean Paytons extention? IS he a possibility for the Eagles next season after Reid gets the "ax"? Would he work out well in Philly?
I have a hard time believing he is going to leave a QB in his prime in Drew Brees for Nick Foles. If Payton does go anywhere it would be to Dallas because he is familiar with their organization, but I doubt that will happen.

Would not be opposed.
"Expect the best. Be prepared for the worst. **** what others think. Do your own thing."
IMO, I don't think any established HC with half a brain would go to Dallas. I'd love to have Payton be the next coach here.
I would love Payton. He'd make foles successful
But I doubt he leaves new Orleans. Though he would be leaving the second all time passer in westlake high school Texas for the first all time passer in westlake high school history
I'd be thrilled to get Payton but it won't happen. Anything but Gruden is fine with me. I can't stand him and he'd be walking into a situation similar to how he left Tampa so he definitely won't make it better. I'd really like someone to come in and make this defense what it used to be.![]()
I don't even care. I don't buy into the coaching hoopla as much as most people do. Not that coaching isn't important, obviously, but it's circumstantial. Seven years ago Andy Reid was one of the best coaches in football, now all of a sudden he's a terrible coach? I think that's stupid.
Andy is the same coach now that he has always been, so it's pretty much common sense that he is not the problem with this team. I don't disagree that it might simply just be time for a change and all good things must come to an end, but those of you acting like hiring a new coach is automatically going to fix everything are being incredibly naive.
Bill Parcels is considered one of the greatest coaches of all time, and couldn't do jack **** in Dallas. Coaching only goes so far. At the end of the day, it's always up to the players to do their job.
The problem with this team is that they have no identity. Ray Diddy wrote a great piece on CSNPhilly.com about it. How we used to have guys like Dawk, Trotter, Vincent, Westbrook etc who embraced the city and the team and the guys we have now are just kind of hired guns passing through. No coach in football can do anything to change that.
If we part ways with Andy, I won't be opposed too it. I'll just hope it works out. But I have no problem keeping him here either, because we know what kind of coach he can be under the right circumstances.
PHILLIES EAGLES FLYERS SIXERS
The reason I would hesitate at Fangio is because you're looking at completely over hauling our roster on defense...
usually, you don't hire a 3-4 coach to coach a 4-3 roster...
Payton is already out of the question he has been quoted as saying he is coming back to the saints and the saints are prepared to make him the highest paid coach in the nfl no way he is even an option.
I will say this. A nice way to get me to question my fanhood would be hiring gruden. Boy would that piss me off
