    Cliff Lee vs. Roy Halladay

    Let's say Halladay's vesting option kicks in for 2014. He is owed $40 million over the next 2 seasons. Lee is owed $50 million over the next 2. Who would you rather have on your staff during that time?

    Halladay. He has a Down year, but he is the better pitcher and cheaper.

    Moving forward? Lee. But it's basically a toss-up. I think Halladay will decline a little more in the next couple years than Lee.

    I think Halladay has had a better career and a better pitcher in his prime than Lee in his prime, but as of right now, I would choose Lee because Halladay's dominance is coming to an end, but there was a time when many considered Halladay to be the best pitcher in MLB; I've never heard anyone say that about Lee.

    This is a really great question. I love Cliff Lee but I went with Halladay. I just enjoy watching him pitch.
