I hate how we have zero home field advantage.

More then likely it is Bumgarner in game 2 and Lincecum in game 3... all tho some speculation with Vogelsong's pitch limit in today's game that he might get the game 3 nod.

That's what I heard, but beyond game 1 neither team is revealing their cards just yet.

Reds will likely go with Arroyo in game 2 and Latos in game 3. Bailey will be on the postseason roster, but I'm not sure if he will get a start. Good option for long relief though.

This team worries me. We have been in a horrible hitting slump and we have to face such a beastly pitching team.

Why wouldn't Dusty go with Latos in SF for game 2? Latos absolutely owns us in SF.

He would rather Arroyo pitch in San Fran where the park is bigger than Cincy where he could give up homers.

Heard today that Homer Bailey will pitch game 4 if necessary.

good luck to you guys this week. i like the new WC system but agree that its not really fair that we get the guaranteed two game. some tweaks def need to be made in the future but ill take it. i am not sure why Latos isn't pitching in SF also, but the crowd in SF HATES him so i am wondering if that hatred would be magnified in sf during the playoffs and if that would fuel the crowd and the SF team( thats probably over thinking it i admit). anyways should be fun , Cheers!

It should be a battle guys. The Reds can play, thats for sure. I will only feel comfortable in the series if SF takes the 1st two in SF. The Giants have not lost a series on the road since the all star break, until the this last series against LA, but im sure SF resting players might have had something to do with that..... Good luck!!!
Another wierd stat you wouldnt think from SF is they are the highest scoring road team either in the entire ML or just the NL

We lost the Dodgers series But of course that's with back ups being in halfway through the game and Vogelsong out after 5.

Anyway, you guys really worry me. Game 1 should be tough as hell. A no doubt low scoring game. I can't wait. No better time of the year than the Postseason.
