Opening Day:

Pretty much agree. I think Parrino might make the team over Rosales. We already know what we have with Rosales, I'd rather try someone new.

Maybe even before that. The 2006 lineup wasn't great. I'd say 2006 was more on par with 2012. 2013 should be closer to the early 2000s teams.

Ok, let's not ignore the elephant in the room that is Nakajima. What if his 'hitting slump' or just overall bad play continues into May? What should we do with him?

Isn't Rosales out of options?

We have good depth in the infield, so if Nakajima sucks it'll just be more playing time for Lowrie, Sizemore, Donaldson, Weeks, etc.

I know that. He's also taking up a valuable roster spot. I wouldn't be surprised to see Beane trade 1 of the infielders to say the Dodgers; Hanley will be out for 2+ months.

I agree with Resop over Norberto. Bartolo Colon will be back after his 5 game suspension so that pushes someone out. That's a bummer, but thats the power of depth

Rosales to the DL might allow Weeks to make the opening day roster. And I've seen Norberto this spring and he's giving up hits on the plenty. His BB/K ratio has been good, so im not reading to far into his struggles.

I'm thinking Weeks doesn't make opening roster since he was already optioned. I see Sogard making it cuz of his ridiculous spring.
