Why isn't Swisher's name getting mentioned more often? He's a switch hitting outfielder with pop, so he would be a good fit with us. Can we afford him?

And many of his Yankee Stadium homers would become fly-outs at Citi.

Well, I'd take him over Lucas Duda in OF, that's for sure.

The dude said he wanted a 100 MM dollar contract. I'm sure that was either a joke or just an indicaiton that he would be asking for a big time deal this offseason. I would rather avoid him and play for the (near) future.

For sure. If he were 60 years old he'd be better. He's just not multi-millions of buckeroos per year better.

    Yeah.

If all things were equal, I'd take Swisher over Duda every day of the week and thrice on Sundays. But all things aren't equal. Swisher will be looking for a ton of money. As good as he is, he's just worth it, even before you consider his post season numbers.

Besides, the only guys we should be giving a ton of money to right now are Wright and Dickey.

    And FoC, of course.
"Mr. Martin Tanner, Baritone, of Dayton, Ohio made his Town Hall debut last night. He came well prepared, but unfortunately his presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards. His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."

As a bishop in good standing, isn't FOC exempt from all taxation?
