Yeah. He's probably a natural righty.

I think he is. I remember watching a game back in 06 against the Braves on FOX and Tim McCarver said that he was a natural righty. You can tell by his stance and his swing is silky smooth from the right side. Lefty, he swings with an uppercut
And I agree with Stuna that Maldonado should be the main target, he's only 26 and only has a year under his belt. Has some pop and can field a bit too
My Off Season Plan:
After the obvious of extending Wright and Dickey . .
Resign Hairston and Cedeno.
Sign Russell Martin (assuming he doesn't return to the Yanks) and pair him with Thole.
Trade for Josh Willingham (power in the middle of the lineup)
Trade for Peter Bourjos. (speed at the top, great glove in CF) Sign Juan Pierre as insurance.
Sign Jason Grilli
Non tender Pelfrey, then resign at a lower salary.
If Bay has a great spring, he stays, otherwise he goes.
Lineup:
Bourjos - CF (if slow to start, platoon him with Pierre for a while)
Murphy - 2B (if traded, go with Valdespin and bring up Flores in June)
Wright - 3B
Davis - 1B
Willingham - RF (sure, he played LF the last few years, but he can play Right too)
Duda - LF (if traded, Kirk or dD, or Bay if he has a great spring, but Hairston as a regular isn't a bad idea either)
Tejada - SS
Martin - C
Rotation:
Dickey
Santana (gets traded at the deadline, and Wheeler is brought up)
Niese (if Niese is traded, either trade for one of Rays surplus - Hellickson, Davis, etc. - or slot Gee as #5)
Harvey
Pelfrey
Bench:
Hairston
Cedeno
Valdespin
Pierre
Thole
Bull Pen:
Francisco (we're stuck with him)
Grilli
Parnell
Edgin
Hampson or Carson
Mejia or Familia
Gee, Heffner or McHugh

Would love to see Willingham but they would need to give up the farm to get him coming off a 35 homer 110 RBI season.
He's a steal at 7 million a season for the next two years, i doubt the Twins deal him unless you include Harvey or Wheeler in a deal.
you guys think we can bring Angel Pagan back?
Nope

I'd like to give den Dekker a good shot in ST to make the opening day roster. He'll most likely start in AAA like Kirk did this year, but den Dekker is just godly with the glove in center field and has a power bat. If he tears it up at the plate this spring, I'd like to see him make the roster.
And "ultimately," Alderson said, "we're judged on whether we win or lose."
-March 2013
If A-Rod had signed 11 years ago, his contract would of been up by now, but it probably would of meant no Beltran in 2005.
Me too, but maybe there could of been both here, but no Delgado.
I miss Beltran, you really learn to appreciate how good a player he was when you see Andres Torres in CF everyday![]()
