makes you wonder if Barry bonds took roids, because he was still a very good hitter in his 40s.

he hit 28 hrs while batting .276 lol ****.
and he was just the better postseason player, i mean its not even debatable.

so if roids diminishes your body as you get older, someone explain barry bonds, roger clemens and andy pettite..

...they already have a good defensive 3rd baseman in eric chavez who is ok.

yet they are still havin problems. they just need to look for someone to REPLACE him. arod's production days are OVER.

Yeah majority being 70 to 80 million bucks, otherwise there is little incentive to take him on.

I don't see the Yankees swallowing that type of money regardless of how badly they want to deal him.

tbh the marlins also have bad contracts, heath bell, buehlre, it would be interesting to see what deal would take place if they do decide on pulling the trigger, and lets not forget arod has the final say lol

Bonds and Clemens were still using into their 40's, Pettite was never a consistent user, just a guy who took hgh to get over an injury, his success post steroids is a testament to that

That's true but i wouldn't see him turning down his hometown.

But yeah i mean they could always do bad contracts for bad contracts, that's i think the only way the Yankees deal him.

It's just too much money to swallow not to get anything in return.

He's played over 2600 games in his career (regular season and postseason) that eventually catches up to a player.
    this right here.

and buehlre. with pineda out, and yanks need sp help, that might be exactly what they need, win-win situation if and only if they are willing to trade.

Yeah, Yankees pay a good portion of Arod's contract take on a bum and a little above average pitcher, Yep I see the win in it for us. We need pitching??? Um no not exactly, Pineda will be back next year.

Olney was saying the Yanks would have to pay 100 of the 115 left on the deal. Thats foolish, no way that gets done at all.
