Lance Lynn's last pitch of the season will not be the walk-off homer he served up to Jayson Werth in Game 4 of the NLDS. Instead, he'll take the ball in Game 1 of the NLCS on Sunday after allowing three runs in three playoff relief appearances.

Bumgarner's Game 4 Division Series triumph at Atlanta in 2010 made him the youngest Giants pitcher to win a postseason game (21 years, 71 days). He was 10-3 with a 2.38 ERA at home in the regular season.

After leading the Cardinals to a Wild Card game win, Lohse made one of the best starts of his career in Game 4 of the NLDS. Though a lack of run support cost him the win, he needed only 87 pitches to pitch seven innings, giving up a run on two hits.

The Giants won eight of Cain's final 10 regular-season starts, which earned him the Division Series Game 1 start against Cincinnati. His 55 regular-season wins since the beginning of 2009 are the NL's third-most.

Hi Cards fans! I am a NY Mets fan from Finland but I love Cards also. During 2011 NLDS it was very funny to see Cards as an underdog against Phillies (Mets rival, yes, I hate Phillies

) and Game 6 in World Series was very nice, too.

Before WC game against Braves one my Finnish friend said to me: Cards has no possibilities against Kris Medlem. And before NLDS same guy told to me: no way Cards will won Nationals because Nats is better team, like you can see. In both times my reply was: you can never say so, Cards seems to find some way to win those games. And now, my friend is quite silent...

Like you can guess, as a Mets fan I love Carlos Beltran. But also, I love Yadier Molina, David Freese and each other Cards player, they are easy to root for and very good baseball players. It won't be easy to win SF Giants but we will have nice times when watching NLCS. It will be very fun to see best catchers in baseball in same series.
