Thank You A's for a Captivating Season!

We came so close to advancing to the ALCS. I was reminded that if we had hung on to win game 2, yesterday's walk-off would have taken us into the ALCS, and we would have avoided the strikeout machine that is Verlander. That's how close we came.

Thank you A's for an exhilarating thrill ride that drove us to win the AL WEST making this one of the best season's ever for me as an A's fan. I can not wait for next season to begin.

Thanks for a fun and memorable season!

    Go A's!!

    ahhh... the good ole days

Thanks A's for having such a great year. I love this team, I think it will stay mostly intact. Gomes, Mac, Inge, and maybe Drew might be gone. I can see Mac wanting to come back, I know Inge mentioned wanting to come back, not really sure about Gomes and Drew though.

Drew has an option, so it's pretty much up to the A's for exercising it.

MLB network was talking about how great A's fans were the whole series. And it was nice hearing Tiger players say how loud we were and what a difficult place this was to play.

Man, gonna miss these guys. Melvin called into 95.7 on my drive home to congratulate the fans as well.

I loved the ovation the fans gave the team after the game. The atmosphere at the Coliseum since the start of the Texas series has been unlike anything I've witnessed. In the middle of game 4 I went to get a beer between innings and the concourse was literally a ghost town. I grabbed a Sierra Nevada Tumbler with no line, when usually I'm dreading the wait just so I can pay 8 bucks for a decent beer. The A's players need to look into the sold out stadium all on their feet chanting even down 6-0 with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th and think to themselves "We did this". Because without that team doing what they did, the stadium is empty.

So BMD, I'm guessing you didn't make it to a playoff game?

I don't want Inge back, I think 3B is Donaldson's to lose. We'll also have Sizemore back who could be nice insurance in case Donaldson starts off like he did this season. I'd love to have Gomes and BMac back though.

I'm from Chico, CA. The town where SN is made

Good to see you like our beer, I take great pride in being from here.

On another note, the A's bedazzled us all season long. I've never been prouder to be an A's fan. I was out riding my bike today with my A's hat on and someone told me "You know they lost, right?" I just smiled and said, "Yea, I know." Wasn't worth giving my time of day to someone who could ask such a stupid question. A's til I die! Much love to all of my brothers and sisters in fanhood, we'll be back!!!

Love Sierra Nevada, probably my favorite brewery, they make amazing beer. Love their Pale Ale, Tumbler, Stout, Porter, and I think their Kellerweis is extremely underrated. I really wish they had more of these at the stadium, although the Coliseum probably has unmatched beer selection(The East Bay is big on microbrews). When I saw they had the seasonal Tumbler I got excited.

He'll command a better contract than that from another team. I don't expect him back.

While I like Inge, I don't think there's a spot on the roster for him, so he gone! The dislocated shoulder really set him back. Plus he was on the decline anyway.

    ahhh... the good ole days
