I can't believe there wasn't a game thread, but I'm on cloud nine after this game. I thought the defense played well overall, and we saw the pass rushing performance of the line this entire season (albeit against a banged up offensive line). And offensively, they were effective running and passing the ball, but had there not been so many dropped passes, the game might not have been that close. I was extremely pleased to see CJ doing a better job of hitting the hole and following his blockers, and I thought this was the best performance of the o-line so far this season.
Overall, it certainly wasn't perfect, but I'm a lot more optimistic about this team after the win. The secondary has to do a better job on third down, but they were admittedly a little better today than they have been in the past. And the receivers (mainly Britt) have to avoid some of the drops they had today.
But at 2-4 with Buffalo and Indy up next, the Titans could feasibly be .500 halfway through the season. Then they get Chicago before Miami and Jacksonville. Perhaps I'm being overly optimistic, but if they can play like this the rest of the season, I don't think the playoffs are out of the question in a weak AFC.
