Chris Young traded to OAK for Cliff Pennington and a not so good minor league infielder. I bet we didn't even try to get him. That's pretty cheap for a solid defensive outfielder with power and speed.

Typical Mets, small price to pay to fill a big need and they don't go for it. Hopefully this means Sandy has someone more significant in play
