    BV paid to be quiet?

RT @mikesofine: ESPN’s Buster Olney says Bobby Valentine who has been quiet since his dismissal Thursday, may have been paid for his silence

Seems like we finally learned from our mistakes and are starting to do things right. Hopefully this continues during the hiring a manager process and Lucchino let's Ben do his job.

Why not? You just avoid the label "bribe" - happens all the time in marriages, malpractice settlements, and big time employees getting canned.

It's not a bribe. It's called "hush" money in the legal world. lol ( I have a daughter that is going to be a lawyer.)

Cafardo reported this like a week ago, LL negotiated it as part of his contract. It's a nondisclosure agreement, if he talks the $2M he's owed next year is voided.

So he gets $2 million to shut up for a year and then once he's paid he can say whatever he wants?
