First big injury for the Texans. Can they weather it?

Cushing can generally handle ILB by himself, James and Dobbins couldn't handle his job TOGETHER on the field tonight.

Tough for Houston, I think they'll be alright though. Hell of a team they got.

    Wow...

I never liked the guy, but damn, it's never good to see a player go down, let alone one as impactful for a team like Cushing. If there's any team that could whether the storm with such a loss, it's the Texans.

Welp, Houston may no longer be a title contender. That's a huge freaking loss.

Hate to see this happen. They have a good defense but it's hard to imagine they won't take a hit from this. Hopefully he gets back 100% for next year.

This is seriously such a ****ed up loss.

Say what you want about the guy and his past but the fact is he is one of the best ILB's in the game. He's an impact player in both the run and coverage.

I typically hate USC and the players that come from there, but I can't help but respect and really like Cushing.

This is a huge, huge loss.

really f'ing pissed right now but theres nothing you can do. i expect a fine, the paly looked pretty dirty to me. chop block at the knee, no where near the play? no need for that. i know nfl is violent, but cmon. that was dirty.

on a related note, clay matthews tweeted: Where is the NFL's protection on blocks below the waist like that on Cushing. Double standard!

really good point by clay, love that hes standing up for cush.

huge loss for my texans. we were already thin at ILB. trade or free agent pick up entirely possible. i expect trindon holliday to be cut
