When Coples has been on the field, he's been very strong. He wont put up the numbers Jones does, as their positions are different. From what I've seen Jones is good. However, it is much too early to make this thread. Have to wait a couple years, or at the very least later than week 5.

He makes plays when he's actually in but for whatever reason they havent played him much.

Because its preseason? It was a non issue anyway.

Who else would start for the Patriots? Jets start Wilkerson, Pouha, and Devito because they play the run better.

I did think before the draft that Jones would be a better player than Coples. I know it's only a small sample size but Jones has been the best defensive rookie so far. If the Jets want to get the most out of Coples they need to change to a 4-3.

I find it weird, because when he does play, he looks very good out there. Unforunately, for whatever reason, he doesnt play very much. If the Jets record starts to plummet, I imagine we'll see more of him. Jones looks like a beast, but I think 4 games is just a tad bit too early to declare him a better player. He seems to definitely fit what the Pats want to do much better than Coples on the Jets. But that doesnt mean he's better, at least not yet.

Definitely agree about Chandler Jones. I thought he'd be legit before the draft. I think Coples would be an excellent 4-3 DT
