    where's the heart?

What happened to the heart of this team. You listen to the postgame comments and it seems very monotone. Where is the fire and the swagger. The success they have had seems to have made them complacent. With all the talentamong NFL teams fairly even you need to play with some sort of chip on your shoulder or an edge. This Packer team seems to be playing as if success will come no matter what. Sure there are things on film and technique that need to be solved and. But if this Packer team does not do a gut check and find the desire to win they will be average at best. It would be nice to see the 'in your face' attitude return. It's time to stop the 'business as usual' approach and starts smacking teams around. They already have the personnel.

I wish Greene was ready to move up in the coaching ranks cause I think he would be a great DC. He has that fire and intensity we need.

So wait, they act confident and people criticize them for being too cocky and they act monotone and people don't think they have any swagger. Funny how things work. How about people stop overreacting, every year isn't going to be 15-1. It's better to be down, battle tested and then rise then it ever has been to just coast through the year.

Everyone was pissed off too back in 2010 when we were 3-3 and had lost games to the dolphins and redskins. Im pretty sure we then steamrolled our way to a Superbowl. Relax people this season is far from over.

I'd like to see this team fully healthy before I push the panic button, but they don't seem hungry to me. The OL has been weak and Rodgers seems to have gone back to his '09 form when he holds the ball too long. He may not survive the season if this keeps up. I think we'll get a good idea about their heart next week. At the very least they need to play a good game, if they lose, so be it, kind of like the Patriot game in 2010. But if they get manhandled and blown out, then it might be time to worry about the 2012 campaign.

The difference between this team and the 2010 team is that we had a good defense then. Our players also played with more hunger it seemed like

Through those first 6 games, they were just as sluggish looking. Regardless, I wont give up on these guys yet. Have some faith my friend.

I have faith just frustrated. I knew we weren't going to go 15-1 again but I didnt expect this. Rodgers is coming off an MVP year and we damn near drafted all defense so this start to the season has caught me off gaurd

I don't think its a lack of fire that's the problem at all. I agree a Ray Lewis type of leader would be nice, but I really don't think we're getting beat from mentally being lazy, we just don't have the talent on the roster.

Newhouse is a poor LT. Lang isn't a great LG. Saturday is a shell of his former self. Our OL is getting beat physically. Its not like we're missing assignments, its just the guys lined up across from our OL are better players often times.

Same with our secondary. Woodson hasn't shown much at safety. Burnett is average at best. Our #2 corner battle is basically between a couple guys who are best fitted to be #3s at this point. We've had a few blown coverages from miscommunication, but the majority of the time, the WRs are just flat out beating our secondary. DJ Smith is overmatched in both the run game and pass game. He shouldn't be a starter. Hawk is better in the run game this year, but he's a worse pass defender than Smith.

Really, the only major mental mistakes are a couple dropped balls and then coaching errors. So its not really that the players are just on cruise control and don't care, its that right now, we're being outplayed and outcoached. Other teams have adjusted to us, and we've failed to adjust to them.
