New Uniforms

Although I am not happy about the move to the AL I am excited about the new uniforms. They are going to incorporate the old "rainbow" uniform colors into a new design and going back the "H" on the ball caps instead of the half star.

Drayton took this team through blue/gold, new cap and a new logo to an inexplicapale change of black (surprise, surprise!), brick red and a new log and cap. I have been an Astros fan since 1965 and their colors are blue and orange with a cap that has a H over an orange star. Drayton ripped the identity of the team away from longtime fans. It was a joke!

Thank you Mr. Crane for bringing our colors, caps and identity back to us! It may be a new league (which I do not like), but I understand that Mr. Selig had a gun to the head of anyone who would buy the team. He is building the farm system back that Drayton totally ignored and ripped to shreds. It may take three to five more seasons, but this team will be back. Thanks for doing this right way, Jim Crane.

I was there last night and I have to say, it was awesome. The atmosphere was amazing, the unveiling of the jerseys was sick, but the way Orbit came out was even cooler.
