Robert Griffin III - QB - Redskins
    Oct 7 - 5:13 PM

Coach Mike Shanahan told reporters after Sunday's Week 5 loss to the Browns that Robert Griffin III has been diagnosed with a "mild" concussion.

Mild or not, Griffin will have to pass the NFL's protocol for concussion testing in order to be medically cleared ahead of a Week 6 matchup with the Vikings. Griffin's injury happened at the end of a third-quarter red-zone run, where he was leveled by Falcons LB Sean Weatherspoon on a play many observers will deem "predictable" because Griffin has been running so often. His status going forward will be updated throughout the upcoming week.

This is gonna be closer then what many will think. It's road, against an underrated Washington team. If RGIII is out though we got a win. If he plays, gonna be hard fought running games where defense/big plays decide who wins. I pick us though.

We need to find a deep ball with our offense but even with RG3 in I think our D is getting better every week,,they hit hard and are mean,,,they aren't a fluke, they are playing to not only win but to dominate.

AP is gaining speed also every game, it is noticeable. I think he breaks a big one finally in this game and then he will be on fire for the rest of the season, unless they go back to the 9 men in the box, but then look for Ponder to have 300+ games every week, with only short passes.

If we can contain RGIII we should win this game. Our offense doesn't seem to play great on the road but as long as RGIII doesn't go Vick on us, we should be alright. Another close game. Vikings 27 Redskins 21

Robert Griffin III - QB - Redskins
    Oct 7 - 9:52 PM

After sustaining a "mild" concussion in Sunday's loss to Atlanta, Robert Griffin III wrote on Twitter that he "think(s)" he will play in Week 6.

The optimism sounds good, although Griffin still must pass tests from the league and an independent neurologist in order to be fully medically cleared for game action. "Thank you for all the prayers and support," Griffin tweeted. "I'm okay and I think after all the testing I will play next week." If Griffin doesn't receive clearance, Kirk Cousins would start against the Vikings.

Good question. Great time to do something like that with Goodell in the house. I do however like that he is a hot head. We need someone like that in our secondary.

I highly doubt he's going to be suspended, it's questionable as to whether or not he should have even been ejected. I will say, he is slowly starting to become one of my favorite Vikings.

Same with Josh Robinson. Hell even thinking about making a sig for the little beast. We have 3 cornerstone defensive players with him, Cook, and Smith. Even Blanton and Stanford looked like ballers today. We just need to keep drafting defense the first few rounds (DT and LB being two holes) and addressing our offense in the later rounds

Really a toss up. I think it depends on Childs injury status too. But I'm a big believer in defense wins championships, so I like to make that as tough as possible.
