What needs to happen during the BYE week?

What are Lions fans wanting to see during the Bye week that will help the overall performance of the team improve. So far the defense, poor running game, and dropped passes have been the reason the Lions can't get it together. Do you expect personnel changes this week. Maybe get that front line adjusted on offense to help protect Matt more?

the D has not been as bad as meny think.. most of the points given up have been to ST or long returns, bad kicks, O going 3 and out giving it to them at 50..

also i donno the stats now but befor last week we where one of the better pass blocking teams.. only allowed 3 sacks i think

I think the O-line just looks worse because there is no run game. While there aren't a lot of sacks, Stafford hasn't had a lot of time to throw the ball. I would like to see Titus get more involved in the offense.

Special teams need to be fixed and fixed quickly. Two games we could/should have won if we didn't give up 14 points via returns.

not saying we have a good run OL because we dont at all.. but i still think we are a abouve avg pass block and only slightly below avg run block with avg-below avg RB

but as i said and LFLOL said ST is our biggst problem.. in 2009 we had agubly the best ST unit in the game.. now we have the worst..

I agree with you, but especially with stafford. I dont think things have gone to his head. But i dont think he's practicing or constantly doing the little things to be that elite qb, since all the limelight. Obviously i dont know that fer sure, but just what im thinking happened.

bur CJ and young all have had easy drops

Sucess has blinded teams before, so it wouldn't be unheard of. And if that is the case it is another example of poor management. There is too much youthful talent on this team to have it wasted because management can't manage players expectations and get them focused on the game. Who is on their way out if this cant get turned around? Who gets brought in. As much as I like Schwartz I think Cowher could bring an edge to that team and defense.

The Patriots, Giants, 49ers, Packers, Steelers, Ravens, Cowboys, Broncos and Jets all get more exposure than the Lions do.

I wouldn't even put our team in the top 10 for teams that get "national exposure" through commercials, prime-time media, ect.

If we can't handle the little attention we get now for making the playoffs, then we will have a serious problem down the road.

As far as the Madden cover goes, that shouldn't have an impact on the team...just usually the individual players are impacted there.

right now, i'd settle for an average ST's... i cant' put my finger on what happened from last year to this year. We were finishing games, starting slow, but coming on late. i think i'll drink a bit more... maybe it'll come to me...
