    Brady vs Peyton thread 1000.

    Brady has more rings!

    Peyton has better numbers!

Brady never had the WR options Peyton did til Moss!

Peyton is a smarter QB who creates pro bowlers. Brady is a system QB look what Cassel did!

Did the Patriots even make the playoffs with Cassel? No!

Look what the Colts did without Peyton!

Brady can put any guy in his "system" and turn them into a difference maker. (Edelman, Deion Branch etc. . .)!

Spygate! Patriots haven't won since they cheated!

    . . . Brady has more rings!

    Peyton has better stats!

I basically gave the summary for the next 100 pages

    Pretty much this.

But since this is to hard to decide, I'm voting Paul George.

Other than the fact that Manning has played more games i'm not sure why you think Mannings stats are better? Luck seems to be doin alright with the Colts.

That is a brand new Colts team. Pretty sure the only 2 offensive players that are still there from Manning are Wayne and Brown. Correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm not 100% sure.

He is making the argument"look what the Colts did without Peyton". So are you making the claim that the Colts built back in 1 year with no big FA aquasitions. Luck seems to be doing fine with the Colts please no more poor Peyton stories.

2 years, but yea. Look at their offensive players this year, look at their offensive players in 2010. The only 2 names I see that are on both are Wayne and Brown. As well as numerous coaching changes. It is a different team.

    Both are 1a and 1b.

Both the two best QBs our generation has seen and IMO will both be regarded as top 3-5 QBs when their careers are over. IMO, if I was starting a franchise from scratch i'd choose Peyton to build around, but if I already had a solid team in place or had one game to win, i'd choose Brady. Not a knock on either, just my opinion. The thing I find funny about these threads is how each side always has to diminish the other's success. It's the same thing with Kobe/LeBron. Each homer tries to make it seem like said player isn't even that great. I find this more so for Brady haters. Throwing out how he's a system QB, the overplayed and flawed Cassel argument, the OL arguments, etc. Just pathetic. Both are generational talents.

Luck is a number one over all draft pick and gonna be pretty damn good IMO. He is nothing like Matt Cassel. I believe Brady to be better but to say the Colts are doing just fine without Manning is....kinda funny.

Oh BTW after missing a full season and all the neck issues. Guess who is the fourth ranked QB in the league is? Oh and looks like Manning is MAKING Thomas a pretty damn good WR. (these 2 comments have nothing to do with the Brady Manning war and pure hatred Brady fans have for Manning) Just throwing it out there because all I have heard for years is Manning was average at best and his his team mates made him. He sits out a year. Gets his neck cut on over and over has to learn how to re throw the football due to nerve re growth (Is doubted mocked made fun of and even some fans BB bagwell NESports Brady to name 4 thank the Gods his career is over sorry the cynic made me say it but it is true) Comes back on a new team new system all new team mates and is doing a pretty good job. I do have to ask though. IF Thomas ends up in the top 3 or 4 in yards can we say Manning made him better or did Thomas make Manning better as has been the thyme in Indy?

For you to try to say that Pats fans claimed Manning was "average at best" shows that you are full of ****. Also for a Bronco fan to say that Manning is in a "new" system tells me that you don't know your own team.
To answer your question, Thomas had all the tools before Manning got there which is why I picked him in fantasy. Of course having a great QB throwing him the ball is going to help his stats. The kid is clueless though............

Hmmm sorry I did not say all Pats or BB/Brady fans. Sorry you felt attacked personally. Manning is in a slash version of the O he ran. YES some of it is no huddle BUT there is a slight rift as McCoy is reluctant to give Peyton all his needed power. It will happen soon enough I am sure. Peyton is IMO a greater offensive minded and intelligent than McCoy. I also agree Thomas has great skill but man live or die. I am either elated or disturbed by his play. Still IMO Manning is making him better.

You forgot mmanning plays in a dome and was only that good because his team spent money on offensive players.

Good point. Brady > Manning in a Dome; Brady > Manning outdoors.

    Thanks for playing.

6/27/09: “We expect [Rondo] to play by the rules and be a leader as a point guard. We need him to be more of a leader,” Ainge said. “There were just a couple situations where he was late this year, I don’t know if he was sitting in his car, but showed up late and the rest of the team was there. We have team rules and you have to be on time. He was fined for being late, he said he was stuck in traffic, and it’s just unacceptable.”
