NBA Win Totals Released in Vegas

Just a heads up for any gambling heads out there. Right now Knicks are at 45.5 wins. IMO, thats easy money to be made with the over. I will be throwing down for sure. Heres the list:

Really surprised they have us that low - less than Nuggets and Sixers.

I think Philly is just as good as us talent wise. Nuggets is a team I think that can upset the Lakers so Im very high on them. I see us winning 48-53 games this year so I will be putting money on over
    Sim League Clippers

The future Kevin Love James Harden,JaVale McGee and Mike Conley
2005 Record 59-23 Result- Lost WCF

A word of advice from a longtime Knick fan: never bet on the Knicks.

The Knicks and Mets are the best examples of Murphy's Law.

The only way I don't see us cracking 46 wins is some serious injuries, and with our depth I'm not even sure that will matter. 45.5 is a joke in my opinion, but I understand nobody is going to just hand us 50 win accolades until we prove we are deserving, but thats a mistake on the bookmakers part that I will gladly take advantage of.

I like Philly's additions but people just completely don't mention that they subtracted their two leading scorers AND Elton Brand. They are relying way too heavily on a guy who has some of the worst knees in the league. I don't see them having a better record than us, no way no how, especially after the early knee issues Bynum is already experiencing.

I understand what you are saying, and I try not to bet on my own team, but as a diehard fan who watches every game, knows every nuance of the team and how they play in certain matchups etc.., there really isn't a better team to bet on.

I try not to get carried away betting on my own team, but honestly I've had the most success that way whether its Knicks or Giants.

No it's not. That's an improvement.
That would mean there is no consideration to the improvements and additions we made solidifying the roster this off season. Were not the same roster as last season. Obviously they are accounting for off season moves for a Philly team that nobody has any clue how they will play together, yet rank us like we made no moves whatsoever.

Fine in my book, I'll gladly take the $$$....

I find it disrespectful to be ranked lower than Philly, who lost its 3 best players last season and added a 3rd option C who has some of the worst injury history in the league and is already out nearly a month, yes.

Im assuming your talking about Iggy? Jrue and Young avg'd more points then him. But Iggy is a huge lose to me he is the best wing defender in the nba and player I hope Shump turns into. I think we are a better team then Philly but if those young kids take the step they are a scarey team too though.

Knicks had the easiest schedule last season and actually fell way below .500 until Lin and eventually Melo bailed us out. What did NY do to show anybody we are entitled to be a 50 win team at the worst?

Now if you're a KNICK fan you know how replacing the scrubs we did will be a huge improvement. On the outside everybody just sees us adding old players and completely ignore the fact Toney, Fields, Jorts and Jordan aren't hear to destroy us.
So getting mad over this is a waste, if you know we'll win 50 games bet on our team and laugh at everyone.

And the reason why Philly is getting so much Hype is because they added the 2nd best Center in the NBA. Iggy position is extremely easy to replace. Going into this season their Center rotation was going to be Kwame Brown and Spencer Hawes. They are obviously going to ignore Brand's great post defense and losing Lou Williams.
To be honest I expected Vegas to have a little more insight and look past the 'oh they added a bunch of old guys' crap we here all over the place. They are supposed to do the research and be on the money. I would think they would account for our record under Woody, the injuries that decimated us, the depth we added and all that......not go by our 36-30 record and 'they added a bunch of 40 year olds' mantra like they are NBA forum posters...

But like you said, I will gladly take the over and laugh all the way to the bank.

Get on it early because if we get off to a hot start or even a game or 2 this will all change out of our favor, and I expect that to happen.

I will take the over but just slightly. If I were a betting man I would take the over on the Bucks 36.5, over on the Hornets 26.5, and under on the Sixers 47.5.

I'm not much into gambling, how does it work? I'd like to put some serious money on OVER 45.5. I mean they basically have us not improving at all from last years win %. I know easy money when I see it...
