I was too and then I started looking at their bench and how they matchup with Baltimore. Similarly, this Euro-ball scheme seemed like a stretch but with Chandler protecting the paint it's not as far-fetched.

Well another tough match up. I love how sexy Baller's front court is with Millsap and Hibbert. Millsap is criminally underrated by PSD and would be a major factor in this series ans he has a sizable edge over Scola. What scares me about Coronado is their backcourt. While Danny Green is a good offensive role player, he is an awful defender. The guy ranked 408th in the league last year on PPP giving up 0.96. He really is not stopping anyone in this series. Than we have Devin Harris, another guy I have a strong dislike for because of his inability to run an offense. I just don't like him starting and I don't like Felton that much more. Pierce is a good number 1 option to have and his championship pedigree is certainly worth something but last year he did not really post any special numbers. He has become very much a jump shooter in his old age and gets most of his points off spot up shots. My question is who is going to get him those looks now? It won't be Devin Harris.
As far Baltimore, I really like Jack in this match up. He would have a big series against the likes of Felton and Harris and Jack is simply being underrated by many. I have always been a huge Manu fan so I love his match up but I simply don't buy Turner and Green on Pierce to say the least. Despite my criticism of Pierce, he could still go off on either of these two guys. What really hurts Baltimore for me is Scola's inability to stop Millsap in this series. This is a tough call and will think it over a bit longer.

I like the way Baltimore's starting lineup matches up with Coronado, with the exception obviously of Pierce vs. Green/Turner. But then Coronado has Danny Green on Manu. At this point, I like Manu as the better player, although staying healthy is always an issue for him. But since this game is assuming health, I can give Manu the benefit of the doubt there. Baltimore's backcourt is much better and while Scola-Millsap is an edge in favor of Coronado, Scola can at least score as well. Finally, the tipping point for me and what really changed my vote since I think the starting lineups were very close were the benches. The best player on Coronado's bench might be a rookie (Sullinger) which says a lot. The rest of the players are kinda bad. I might've voted for Coronado if they had at least one decent bench player but they don't.
