I'd give my left nut but I wouldn't give Montero and Tai Walker.

I think you guys would not be saying the same things you are now one year ago. Montero has always been an elite prospect and while I know he sucked last season, he's still got above average tools at age 22.

LoMo is just another 4th outfielder. Why would we want that? His wOBA was .308 last year. I checked earlier today, but it's somewhere around there, if not exactly.

That's confusing to me. LoMo has posted a 0.2 and 1.0 WAR. Last season he posted a .308 wOBA, .230 average, .306 OBP, and 11 home runs. I mean he has potential but don't we have enough 4th OFs with potential?

Look at what he did in 2011. .346 wOBA and 116 wRC+ in 123 games. He was injured last year, only played 91 games. Career .341/112.

Look at his minor league stats too. Draws walks, 25 home runs power.

He is much better than any of our 4th outfielders.

Does his .247 average that year not scare you?

What I'm scared of happening is he comes here and all of his home run balls day around the warning track. Then once that gets in his head, his approach and mechanics change, and his average plummets with his homers.

You'd be surprised at how similar his numbers are to Saunders.

His OBP is .308. That's not very good at all. It's below the 2011 league average.

According to FanGraphs that is in between poor and below average.

No, but do you think the air is gonna pull it back 20 feet? None of this are even close so I don't get why you assume he has warning track power.

If we are going to find a trade partner, it would be a team that wants pitching for hitting. I would kill for Stanton but he is what the Marlins are wanting. Young, productive, and cheap. I wouldnt trade Montero, or Ackley. Those are the only untouchable bats on this team to me that have played. Seager is close but if you can get a power upgrade at 3B you move him. Our offense sucks.

His 10.3% and 9.8% walk rates are nothing special.

You're kidding yourself if you don't think it affects his power.

Doesn't make sense to trade Seager either. We need to add straight up, not addition by subtraction and stuff.
