If you look at his splits though, .608 OPS at home, .820 OPS away. He has nice tools too and he's young. He would be a good acquisition, but yeah, you definitely don't give up anything prime. Marlins will probably sell low on him anyways

I hope we add some good talent this off season, not sure how I feel about Hamilton, sure he's good but I think he'd fit in with a smaller market team with less pressure. I'm just afraid with the pressure that comes with playing in Boston and especilly if he doesn't live up to expectations his old demons could come calling again. I could be wrong and either way I'm rooting for both the Sox to get better and Hamilton to stay on the right track.
Im hoping for Salty + Aceves. Get his *** outta here too lolOriginally Posted by Nomar:24328639
Seriously though I really think we are going to get Morrison
wow, I'm glad we didn't get Hunter now, huge overpayment.
I wonder what it would take to get Alex Gordon or Mike Morse now.

Morse: maybe Doubront/De La Rosa/Webster along with a B spec?
Or we can trade for Tyler Moore (Doubront/De La Rosa/Webster)
Or a Morse + Moore for 2 of Doubront/DLR/Webster
1. L Ellsbury CF
2. R Pedroia 2B
3. L Ortiz DH
4. R Morse 1B/LF
5. R Moore 1B/LF
6. R Middlebrooks 3B
7. L Kalish RF
8. R Lavarnway/Ross C
9. R Ciriaco/Iglesias
Gordon: Buccholz straight up, or a combination of 2 of Doubront/DLR/Webster?
1. L Ellsbury CF
2. R Pedroia 2B
3. L Gordon LF/RF
4. L Ortiz DH
5. R Middlebrooks 3B
6. R Napoli 1B
7. L Kalish LF/RF
8. R Lavarnway/Ross C
9. R Ciriaco/Iglesias SS

Logan Morrison is not that great of a player. I'm not sure I understand the love. I'd rather do something with Chicago where someone like Gavin Floyd comes back.
Plenty have said it here, but our offense will produce. It's much more difficult to get our pitching in order. That's what wins. Starters who go deep in games and an effective bullpen. I'd rather see us strive towards that first and worry about a lackluster FA class to fill out position holes.
