I agree with Fehr that the negotiations could have been ongoing while the season was in progress.
This is unnecessary, stupid, and I hope it bites the NHL in the ***. Hard. Hopefully a few teams will die because of it. That would be the most positive outcome.
I hope their strategy backfires on them seriously.

Wy aren't they meeting round the clock till this is resolved one side will cave eventually the more they meet the quicker this is done.

fans should go on strike when they finally come to an agreement.....nobody go to games to make them realize who the ones really paying them are and how much fans mean to making sports run lol

can't wait to hear how much money they lose scrapping these 82 games. It'll be way more then the 100 mil lost from the preseason.
