the "trying too hard" comment I keep hearing is dumb. Funny is funny, that comment makes no sense to me.

Its like they are screaming at me hey look see haha this is funny, you should laugh now.

It Insults the audience imo, I mean honestly them making Andre look like a penis wasn't that funny, that was trying way to hard, especially the mark on his head. I mean really? It was funny at 1st but then they just killed it with that.

Andre in turtle necks was hilarious, the ending felt forced. I Know its a comedy but a couple would decide on circumcision based on a fantasy gootball game. Sorry, bit of reach for me.
Time for some rafi & hell, bring back Sarah Silverman!

yea I need some Rafi, because for some reason he is a believable crazy *** element that the show is missing and trying to make up for.

It is what it is though to some of us. Funny isn't always funny, that actually makes no sense. Just cause something is branded a comedy or funny doesn't make it especially when it feels forced or as if they play sports fans who aren't really sports fans. IDK it's almost like I get the vibe of guys who spew what they watch or hear on ESPN and the show tries to pass them off as super fans.

Maybe that's exactly what rubs me the wrong way about the show is I actually don't enjoy the fantasy football aspect to it all but, enjoy the other moments in the show. I really don't find myself laughing at the actual bits about their league or them talking about sports and trying to make it funny.

I share the same view as Northsider -

I never felt that their fantasy league / football in general was central to the humor of the show. It was always an occasional mention through out the episode or it gave them a reason to be in X place. These first two episodes have been shoving it down my throat, and trying to make something funny just because it is "football themed" isn't doing it for me. This one was better than the first though.

I used to love this but it's just so ridiculous and so forced that I'm having a hard time watching anymore. Their sets all look extremely fake and it just doesn't look like it's produced by professionals at all and it's growing old on me very quickly.

ive never watched it, but will watch that episode... is the series any good?
