Enjoyable for sure, not up to the ridiculously high standards I have. I am just happy it is back on though.

It was alright... not great, but pretty good. I still have high hopes for this season.

I'll have to watch it again. It was alright, but I was falling asleep, I enjoyed Charlie and Mac together. Dee, Dennis and Frank plots...not so much.

Solid first episode. Not classic but a lot of funny.

Did it feel different to anyone?

I don't know if they upgraded the cameras they use or what but it just felt like something was different.

Thought the episode kinda sucked to be honest. This might be the season that loses me.

Season 1: Awesome, fresh, and new
Season 2: Even better as the show found its niche.
Season 3: The pinnacle of the show's run. Best overall season.
Season 4: Dropped back to earth, worse than the first 3, but still solid
Season 5: Rebound season that was better than 1 or 4.
Season 6: Significant drop off. Still funny, but had a lot of "miss" episodes
Season 7: Even further drop off. Weakest season to date.

I pretty much agree with each seasons assessment, except that I think Season 6 was the worst. Season 7 kinda renewed my faith a little. But I agree that this could be the season that either makes me fall in love with this show all over again or makes me finally give up on it.

We know that FX picked them up for season 9, so hopefully they can get back on track this season. I blame Fat Mac for last season.

I agree with 1-3, but I would say the pinnacle was seasons 3-5.

Season 6 was funny but a clear drop off in quality

I thought season 7 was pretty good. Thundergun and the gang gets trapped were great. But it still is the second worse season, in front of 6.
