Wilson's size reminds me of Giancarlo Stanton and every scouting report seems to mention his tremendous raw power.
I would be happy with him or Williams.

I like Trey Ball, Jonathon Crawford, and Ryan Boldt.
Just read up on Wilson, decent speed and power and improving each year. Will be 21 here shortly. I think you draft the best available talent.

Well the best college bat is said to be Kris Bryant. In fact, a lot of mock drafts have hitters Bryant, Meadows, and Frazier all being drafted before Wilson. So he could be available. Probably not but he could be. I'd love Kris Bryant but there's basically no chance of him being there at 11, but Wilson could be and we should take him if he is. We need OF hitters who could be MLB ready in as little as 2 yrs.

Hopefully we dont reach like the last 2 drafts, but im pretty sure mets will take someone not in the top 20 rankings that will be cheaper to sign
Cechini was not a reach since he was drafted were most people had him going.
Yeah, I think so many people hated the pick that they began to slowly infer that it was a reach when it wasn't at all. Personally, my problem with the pick was that they talked up "upside" so much, then replace the SD with someone who may have a different philosophy (based on track record) and then take a kid who's "upside" is that of a solid regular and the ceiling of a bit above average regular.
