I've been suggesting this since the preseason. It's the only way to make Tebow work in this offense.

The Jets either have to put Tebow on the bench and go with a single offensive scheme, or use Tebow as a RB, and they can add the option pass and wildcat to the existing formation. Gimmick plays only work when they take the defense by surprise.

Personally I thought the Jets had Tebow bulk up to 250lbs in the offseason so he can pound the defense as a runner. Why have such a big guy if he's a QB?

The Jets just don't know how to utilize Tebow. I don't believe a Tebow package exists and the reason his impact on offense has been so minimal is because the Jets have probably figured out that even they don't know how to best use his 'unique' skills,

Man i agree with all of you, Tebow is a Jet,why cant we figure out how to use him. My opinion, he now is our best offensive player, {not Q.B}. We have got to hand him the ball somehow. We are in 1st place as of now,it is time to bring that KickAss attidude before its to late. Let Tebow do what he "CAN "do with his legs not his arm. Why has Tebow been so disreguarded, his excitment never came from his arm,it was always the make you miss moves. I truley thought by now this would of been the case. It isnt to late. Maybe even letting the MaC, start..

I wouldn't go so far as to call him our best offensive player. We don't know what he is because he hasn't been used at all. He might be a great RB, and he might suck.

Tebow wants to be a QB, and I don't know if he'd really embrace a role as a full time RB, whether he's a starter or not.

I just think that with a horrible running game, they should try someone who's always been good at running the ball. If it works, it gives the Jets so many new options...Sanchez will have open WR's, and Tebow can run the HB option or take direct snaps as the RB for the Wildcat.

I've been posting this idea every week, but obviously Rex and Spaghetti-O's don't read here.

This is the dumbest idea that I have ever heard. Tim Tebow is a QB, that is where he should play, that is where he should start. People that think this is even a possibility do not understand the fundamentals of football. That's like starting Amare Stoudamire at football because he has decent ball handling ability.

Tebow is too slow for a RB. Have you seen him in the wildcat yet?
Tebow makes plays with his legs from the QB position. That is much much different than having to find a hole in 2sec's from the line of scrimmage, then having enough burst to get through said hole.

I dont think anyone knows where Tebow belongs.. @ 6ft 250 where can he play? TE? trade him to the defense? lol who knows

I don't even know what that means, I guess that's a New York thing. He does not have the skill set to play RB or FB. He is a QB his skill set is as such. He has won as a QB what part of that do you not get. I would hate me too if I could not debate facts. You sound like Obama right now.
