^How so? Which team would not agree to it? Varejao wants to play on a championship contending team...and the Heat need a bigman. Maybe throw in some picks to sweeten the deal for cleveland? Idk of any other bigman the heat could trade for without giving up some core peices or too much for not enough in return. Haslem would have to be in the deal for cleveland to even consider it, but im not sure the Heat want to get rid of him either. I don't see why its an impossible trade.

it wont happen because clevland is not going to take on all of that aging money. why would they take 3 long term aging players? it makes no sense. if there ditching andy, which they should, they are going to do it for pics or expiring contracts. not only that but there not even positions of need for clevland.

and for the heat its a bad deal. your 3 spot is not weak, you dont need casspi, and the hole point of getting any is depth at the 4-5 and if you get ride of 3 players at the potions your trying to cause depth at, thats just counter productive. plus clevland is not dealing with miami if they absolutely don't have to.

Cleveland is in the process of re-building, why would they want old long term contracts on their books? Only way they trade Varejao is if its for expiring contracts and picks to build for the future.

Simple fact that Lebron left Cle for Mia. Use common sense on that one. Cle wants to rebuild they want some nice picks not in the bottom part of the 1st round. Also pretty much eliminate all business relations between Mia and Cle as long as Lebron is there or as long as Dan Gilbert is the owner.

Why would Cleveland do that? I mean, I get why you as a HEAT fan would like it, but pretend you're a Cleveland fan for a second and ask yourself if you think that's fair return. It's not. Three older guys who make money aren't worth it for a young team like Cleveland. They serve no long term purpose.

Why not just use the Philly pick, & go for J.J. Hickson, Patrick Patterson, Byron Mullens, Jason Smith, or someone else of that level without losing Haslem?
